Welcome to Transfur!

A new artist challenge has started! The current theme is "An unfortunate were-creature curse.".

In a stunning show of support, after only a week, TransFUR has just completely paid for the hosting bill using only the donations from members. This was far more support than I would have ever imagined and the achievement deserves a heart-felt "Thank You" from the TransFUR staff and all the other patrons.
Thanks to the support of these contributors, TransFUR is in no danger of an outage like FurAffinity. And, should the level support we are seeing continue, we may be able to upgrade some of TransFURs services.
I am also pleased to report that many of the contributors have also supplied some excellent feedback about how TransFUR can improve in the future. And being that these suggestions came from our most dedicated members, we will be taking those suggestions very seriously.
Oh, and it appears that the PayPal donation method seems to be preferred over the Amazon anonymous donation method. However, we will probably keep both as the lead isn't that great suggesting people are split on how to donate.

Wow, donations have really dropped off these past few months. In the past 30 days, we've received a grand total of 5$. That's it.
I take it that everyone really liked the Amazon thing and hates the pay-pal one. Well, we can bring back the Amazon one, but I would really like someone to tell me why they aren't donating. I don't want to switch if its just because everyone has been really tight these last few months.
Why bring this up now? Well, the bill just came in at 359.85$ and being tight myself right now (as in I may not make rent this month), I don't have the money to pay it.
So, I encourage you to please donate. TransFUR needs you right now.

If you haven't already, run out and buy Okami for the Nintendo Wii NOW.

It's definitely one of the best games for the system - you play as a non-anthro goddess wolf, restoring life and color to the world. It's a massive game, tons of fun, and has shapeshifters in it.

I swear to god - buy it now. It just gets better and better the further you get into the game (especially about 10 hours in). Very epic!
