If you see *anything* with glowing-eldritch-flame eyes, you should probably ask a cleric before screwing with it.

Herpetology is the study of reptiles and amphibians, "herpeton" in Greek means "reptile"
How long did it take to do them?

So, wait - the series is done, but you have to donate after the image goes up, and not in the recent past (bandwidth crisis) to get access to the bonus images? I'm confused (and broke).
:( I won't spoil it. But the TF didn't go where I was hoping it would. It's not bad, just not what I thought it was going to be.
Very nice TF. But this one thing I agree with Chrontius. DOnate ok but what about those who donated during crises without an outlook to bonus pics?
The series was started and finished during the "Rent-Is-Due" crisis. Now, not being a mind-reader, or able to time-travel back before everything started, we decided to put this sequence up in full for those that donated (i.e. sneak preview), but still post the whole thing over time for the enjoyment of everyone. If you donated *without* incentive, just know that you guys/gals were the ones that inspired me to finish this sequence early.
I think I know where this is going, but I won't say anything.
I love legs and feet transformation, to expect...

I kind of prefer the over-time method. It lets it sink in, lets you think about it. Oh, and it heightens your desire for MOAR. Not that I'm against donating, but I'm happy with updates as they are =).

Taking on taur features just killed my interest in this sequence. It's like adding a rear spoiler to a pickup truck.
Vicious: Lol (I think I just about got soda up my nose reading that)! Unfortunately I have little control over my dreams at night - some people will like the result, others won't. *shrug* Regardless, it was a cool dream.
@ Vicious, the sequence just became that much better imo, but then I love taurs.

3-legged snakelike creature.....such a creature is not called a "snaketaur" it is a "basilisk"
Doesn't a Basilisk have 8 legs? Even if it had 6, i'm pretty sure this IS a snaketaur as a Basilisk would walk on all sixes... this has four digitigrade feet and two hands. I'm loving it anyway :D I love taurs

This is one of the most beautiful sequences I've seen on Transfur - or anywhere else, for that matter. I've been checking the site two or three times a day since you started posting it. I also like the double narration. I don't think I've seen that done before, using first and third person at the same time, and it works perfectly. Absolutely gorgeous in every way.
A snake taur was certainly not what I was expecting from the beginning of this piece, but it turned out very interesting. Very original concept as far as I've seen and you did it beautifully. One more question: what were you on to have a dream like this??

Beautifully done! Though there is one tiny mistake: In pic 6 her left leg is brown-furred, in 7 its her right one... :)
^ Nah that's not a mistake - pic 7 is looking at the inside of the right leg but pic 6 is looking on the outside - there is only hair on the outside. I've said it several times already, but here I go again... I love this sequence :D

I absolutely love this comic - beautiful artwork and really intriguing concepts with the combination. I almost thought you were going to use the horse/snake as a method to do a traditional asian Dragon-taur looking creature up until the last image - but beautiful designwork and great comic!

Just looked at my previous comment and noticed a typo: meant to say "snake-taur" not snake. Still probably my favorite sequence on Transfur.
