Second random change thinger. Once again, tried a different coloring...with a sucky anatomy, woot. At least it was fast, about an hour. ...I need to draw more mid-tfs. lol
I know this is going to sound strange, but I really like the treatment of the chain link on this. I'd be very interested in seeing you apply the same style to a figure, just really minimal, flat blocking out with open space for highlights. At any rate, I also wanted to say I really like how you do hands! Sorry to comment on weird things :P
The anatomy isn't awful at all. You left barely any room for error if there is any.. not much visible. And again, these color practices look amazing. I can't wait to see what your actual attempts look like.
Eh, maybe I'm just the picky type, but it seems like a step down from your other piece with the vixen. The angle and perception of depth in the picture feel a little awkward. Still, it's far from bad.
Well, I directly say this drawing sucked. I did a pretty sloppy job on the anatomy and rushed on the coloring. Besides, I haven't been in an exactly good-mood lately, so...Till the third one.
There's nothing wrong with the anatomy so much as that you didn't illustrate the depth of the drawing... she feels like she's a flat 2D figure. The pose is entirely possible, the anatomy is as... anatomically correct as a half-human animal CAN be... it just feels like she got rolled flat against the fence with a steamroller. Like she's a cave-painting, or something. She's beautiful, otherwise, Silver.
Oh the colors are gorgeous! I rather like the flatness of it, actually. With the city backdrop, it gives it an art-deco or even a graffiti type feel that I sort of assosiate with city culture.
