Here I bring the small mini comic I was working on. I hope it's of your guys's liking. Originally, I thought of making this piece in a simplified black and white but given how i don't really have that much practice in the technique, I ended up coloring the thing in its entirety and just applying the filter.
As I draw this I realize that I still have a lot of practice ahead and a lot to learn. It takes me quite a lot to make the backgrounds consistent and good (none of these are) and much more to try to keep them constant. I'm sure experts do a myriad of concept art for characters and locations, but fast drawing is still a habit that i'm lacking.

Not hard to see where this is going now. Rather an appropriate setting for it, too -- lycanthropy was (and likely still is) treated as a mental illness, a form of psychotic delusion affecting a fantastical belief in patients that they can transform into, have transformed into, or simply are some manner of animal.
I suppose that makes Lorie the truth behind the myth.

She (still human) says "for a second i thought the treatment had undone a bulk of the work..." in the previous panel. I beleive that's that the were-fox is responding to.

If these last two pages are just the epilogue, it's kind of a sad note. Haylee's heterochromia is neat. Subtle.

It's actually more of a routine towards making progress. And yeah. Haylee has heterochromia, it just didn't appear in the black and white pages thanks to the color adjustment layer.
