#1: Wouldn't ya know it. First day at Starfleet Academy and there's a transporter accident! The Caitian ambassador is okay, but I'm in a bit of trouble. They say they can fix it, but it will take a few weeks to recover the data. Meanwhile...

#2: The helpful transporter operator managed to give me a regulation uniform. It's a little breezy, but I can live with it, for now. "Mrrr-owrr..." Did I just say that? I hope they can expedite those repairs...

Oh, transporters were the first tf-trigger to delight me when I was a cub. (The Pink Panther getting it, that time, but still.) Always a delight to see someone using them.

Tim-Kangaroo

A pity they don't use transporters for TF fun in any of the STAR TREK series (that I know of, anyway). Also, which Pink Panther cartoon are you referring do?

AustinDern

They did use transporters to do a merger, in Voyager, once. But otherwise they only used transporters to undo some other mishap (including aging, twice, age-regression, and shrinking).

The Pink Panther cartoon was 'Star Pink'. Pink runs an interstellar gas station and is (prematurely, I think) afraid of the Naked Guy just because he's a space pirate. He uses a transporter pod and gets into some merger action too.

And two splits. Kirk in TOS and B'Elanna in Voyager each got split into good/evil (Kirk) and Human/Klingon (B'Elanna).

This is freaky, I just finished watching TOS episode “Mirror, Mirror” ^^U

A classic episode.

Better than being a smelly Klingon.

You can say that again! mrr-owr!

This is... alarmingly on-target for my range of interests. Get out of my head, you.

Double credit for the authentic TAS background, plus a hundred quatloos for the very authentic cost-saving TAS practice of using the exact same pose in both images.

I guess that Vulcan mind-meld actually worked!
